I would like to reiterate what TG said. First time on each computer is all you get.
here at work i got 1479.4 k bits/sec.
I will let everyone know what i get when i get home this afternoon. i am afraid i am going to be very disappointed.

lol, well, to be honest, the speed you get on this test also depends on your physical location in relation to the server.
i mean, if it's in the us, i don't have to get my packets all through the atlantic backbone, and through some slower networks before i get it on the dutch backbone.
And i generally copy 700 MB in 5 minutes (over tne internet), which should come down to about.. 2.3 MB/sec, which is 18.6Mb/sec.
